Nancy Tempas, Controller, A.C.E. Building Service, attended the ABC 2014 Human Resources Conference recently. Sponsored by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin, the program addressed HR issues specific to the commercial construction industry. ABC represents more than 800 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, manufacturers and other construction-related professionals throughout the state and nearly 23,000 member firms nationwide. ABC members support the merit philosophy, which stresses merit rewards for open shop employees who provide high-quality construction at competitive rates.
