A.C.E. Building Service has completed a re-roof project for Holiday House of Manitowoc County Inc., installing a Butler MR-24 metal roof system that will provide long-lasting weather protection for the non-profit organization’s building.

Holiday House’s original roof was installed in the late 1960s, when the original building was constructed (also by A.C.E. Building Service). So when the need arose for a new roof, they again called on A.C.E., who chose the durable MR-24 as the best roofing solution for them.

The MR-24 low profile metal-over-metal re-roof system was installed over the building’s current roof without needing to tear off existing roofing materials. The re-roof added 3 inches of insulation, improving the thermal performance of the building.

A.C.E. was also able to complete the 23,640-square-foot re-roof project with no disruption to the day-to-day operations of Holiday House, which offers programs and services that promote the advancement and dignity of individuals who are affected by disability or handicapping circumstances.

Incorporated in 1963, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and is celebrating its 50-year anniversary in 2013. They provide commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease – to Northeast Wisconsin.
