Stan Johnson, Max Maigatter, Bill Shimek, Chris Herzog and Doug Schwalbe of A.C.E. Building Service (Manitowoc) attended the 2013 Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Winter Convention.

The two-day program featured updates in building trends and business management. Break-out sessions, table discussions and all-day programs focused on key topics such as lean construction, trends in Wisconsin construction, leadership training and updates from the DOT, DNR and state legislature that impact the commercial construction industry.

Incorporated in 1963, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and is celebrating its 50-year anniversary in 2013. They provide commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease – to Northeast Wisconsin.

ABC of Wisconsin is a national trade association for the construction industry that actively promotes the merit shop form of construction.
