Steve Siehr, Mark Backhaus and Joe Schepper of A.C.E. Building Service in Manitowoc attended a Foremen Training program presented by Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC). Held in Wisconsin Dells, the program offered tools to better manage building projects and provide a more value-added experience for customers.

Topics covered included field management obstacles that wipe out productivity and what to do to remove those obstacles, as well as 10 things that every field manager should consider before starting a building project and how to put these principles into practice.

Founded in 1950, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and provides commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease – to Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.

ABC represents more than 800 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, materials supplies, manufacturers and other construction-related professionals throughout Wisconsin and nearly 23,000 member firms nationwide. ABC members support the merit shop philosophy, which stresses merit rewards for open shop employees who provide high-quality construction at competitive rates.
