A.C.E. selected for Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry expansion

A.C.E. Building Service has been selected as design/build contractor for an expansion project for Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in Manitowoc. The 35,000-square-foot addition features two overhead crane bays for enhanced production efficiencies, specialized machine bases and a dust collection system. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker initially announced the expansion and that the company is eligible for up to $210,000 in economic development tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

Additionally, up to 43 new jobs will be added as the result of the expansion. The first production line will be completed in early 2012, and the second line will be finished in late 2012.
Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry provide aluminum and copper based alloy castings for a wide variety of industries. They specialize in permanent mold, green sand molding, dry sand and low pressure molding processes and can take a casting design from prototype samples to production tooling.
