A.C.E. Building service of Manitowoc recently completed a software upgrade and training on the newly enhanced Butler Advantage XE software.
“The Butler software allows our customers to see a virtual version of their building on a computer, giving them the capability to examine it from any angle—and through “transparent” walls. You can even “fly” over it and “walk” through it. It‘s a very powerful tool that allows customers to visualize their project in the planning stages and make the building become ‘real’,” says A.C.E. president Stan Johnson.
With recent updates, the interactive software also allows features like doors and windows to be moved for ideal placement. The software optimizes the design, providing instant feedback on “what if” situations —automatically checking the new location of a window, for example — to see if it could interfere with structural components. Customers can also quickly see the cost impact of various specifications, saving them money by allowing A.C.E. to develop cost-efficient designs.
Founded in 1950, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and provides commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease – to Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties. They have been a certified Butler builder of pre-engineered metal buildings since 1973.
