Mike Frozena of A.C.E. Building Service attended a Wisconsin Commercial Building Code Refresher seminar in Madison to learn changes in building requirements as required by the state. By attending this annual code update program, A.C.E. is able to stay current with building code requirements and how to best use the code for customer projects.
The program, sponsored by the UW Madison Department of Engineering, addressed updates for 2011, including: egress and accessibility, health care facilities, mechanical provisions, fire resistive; fire prevention, new structural provisions, existing buildings and changes in the Wisconsin code.
Founded in 1950, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and provides commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease – to the Lakeshore counties.
