Dan Abts, a foreman with A.C.E. Building Service of Manitowoc, has successfully completed all requirements to become a WasteCap Accredited Professional in Construction and Demolition Debris Recycling.

Abts received the accreditation after successfully completing a Construction and Demolition Recycling Training Program. The achievement will enable Abts and A.C.E. to ensure environmentally-friendly construction and demolition waste management services by developing successful reduction, reuse and recycling programs.

“Receiving this accreditation is another way A.C.E. can better serve customers and the environment,” says Stan Johnson of A.C.E. “Dan is now a recognized expert who can assure clients we are focused on being ‘green’ and that, whenever possible, we will reduce, reuse and recycle construction and demolition debris.”

Founded in 1950, A.C.E. Building Service is located in Manitowoc and provides commercial and industrial construction services – including new buildings, expansions, renovations, metal re-roof, facilities maintenance, design/build, and build/lease.

WasteCap Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide waste reduction and recycling assistance for the benefit of business and the environment.
