Burger Boat Company’s newest manufacturing building, which was built by A.C.E. Building Service of Manitowoc, was featured in the Summer 2006 issue of Building Profit. Building Profit is a nationally published magazine for building owners that features construction topics important to today’s building owner.
The article, entitled “Building for a Tight Site,” discussed the construction process and challenges of building a 200- by 210-foot building onto a small lot bordered by two railroads, a river and a city street. “Even though our boatyard site is 7.5 acres, a large portion was taken up with other buildings,” explained Jim Ruffolo, Burger’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, in the article.
“They (A.C.E.) had to be very creative.”
Burger’s new 48,000-square-foot Butler pre-engineered steel building can accommodate two megayachts in each of its bays two bays. For a full copy of the Building Profit article, contact A.C.E. at 1-800-387-5928 or email email@example.com
